Biography

The Mel-Tones were a jazz vocal group from the 1940s and 50s. The group was founded and led by iconic jazz singer, Mel Torme. The group released several records, and were also featured on several other musicians' records, such as Artie Shaw. Other than Mel, the group was made up of singers Bernie Parke, Diz Disruhd, Betty Beveridge, and Ginny O’Connor.
