HONOLULU (KHON2) — Do you have what it takes to be the next big thing out of Hawaii? If yes, a talent search coming to the island is exactly where you need to be May 11.
South Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment is coming back to Hawaii to look for the next up and coming talents in the industry.
“Last years audition was very successful showcasing talent from all over the beautiful state of
Hawaii. We really felt the aloha spirit here and are thrilled to bring the YG GLOBAL AUDITION
back to Hawaii and provide an opportunity for talented individuals to showcase their skills,”
said a representative from YG Entertainment Casting Team.
The pre-application has already opened and will be available until May 5.
Those applying must have been born between 2006-2013 and can audition in one of four categories:
- Vocal
- Rap
- Dance
- Appearance
The auditions will be held May 11 at noon at the Honolulu Dance Studio in Kakaako.

A confirmation email will be sent on May 6th with the individual audition
time.
