SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man was killed in a shooting in San Francisco’s Mission District on Friday afternoon, the San Francisco Police Department confirmed to KRON4.
The shooting happened on the 2300 block of Mission Street at about 1:37 p.m., SFPD said. The victim died at the scene.
Emergency crews are at the scene, and traffic delays are expected. The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management advised that people avoid the area of 20th Street and Mission Street due to police activity.
No arrests have been made in the shooting and no suspect details were immediately released.
