This fusion has created an even more unique sound as noticed in their song "Insane". They have reported that Korn is their biggest inspiration. So much so there have been a few accusations of Flymore being a complete rip-off of Korn themselves. However, Frozt has said himself that "We don't want to copy Korn, we just want to revive the sound of Nu Metal that we all knew and loved"

History

Millennium began in the surroundings of Igor Mukhin's bedroom studio, where they practiced the bands first material. They spent a lot of their free time playing such material as Nirvana and Green Day. Millennium’s early material was compared to such acts as Limp Bizkit, Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine. Both Mukhin and Rybakov wanted to get more than they had at that time. They recruited drummer Dmitriy Kurin and a singer named Max Morozov, who left his band and wanted to try something new with Millennium. The band made their debut gig at Ivanovo's Rock club. After that, Millennium played anywhere they could with local bands and increased their fan base. Eventually, they landed a show at Moscow legendary annual music contest Rock in the Fire in 2004. A year later, Dmitriy was dropped due to the band being dissatisfied with him and his alcohol addiction. In 2005, the band took notice of drummer Serj Kulikov after seeing his band Tvorok and attempted to get him to join Millennium. Serj initially did not want to join the band and refused them. Soon after that the guitarist of Tvorok left the band and Serj became the new drummer for Millennium.

The band soon received notice that “Millennium" was already taken so the they changed their name to Flymore. Igor proposed to invite his friend Nikita Alekseev to a jam session as a second guitarist and the band members liked him, so after some talks they started to play together. The band started playing live shows and writing new material, and in 2007, Flymore recorded their full-length debut LP “Millennium 45” with producer Dmitriy Taravkov which was released on October 6th, 2009. Dmitriy has previously worked with a lot of famous Russian metal acts. Flymore stayed in Moscow for three months and worked on more than 20 songs with Dmitriy at Mosfilm Studio. Together they decided on 12 of them to arrange, fine tune and shape so they best reflected the group's style.

Since 2007 Flymore started touring nationwide and performing at all rock festivals all over the former USSR: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus.
