SCRAMBLED EGGS & POTATO CHIPS MALA?!?!?

I always wanted to try “A Hot Hideout” but they only have Jurong West & Sembawang outlet 🥲 (Eastie here! 👋🏻)! And finally, they have opened an outlet @ Kinex Shopping Center (Old One KM Mall).

It opened on 1 December & I went over on 2nd December. The queue was insane, 15 people were in front of me! The lady told me the waiting time was around 40mins and indeed 40mins for the food to reach my table!!

What I ordered: (2-3 pax)

1) Mala Collagen Soup ($17.86) (536g)

• Scramble Eggs, Bean Sprouts, Black Fungus, Cheese Tofu, Hot Dog, Pork Belly, Shimeiji Mushroom, Cabbage, Nai Bai & Maggi Noodles

Combi of Mala & Collagen soup with a punch of spiciness, Superb 🥹

2) Mala Xiang Guo ($25.27) (887g)

• Potato Chips, Luncheon Meat, Pork Belly, Cabbage, Quail Eggs, Black Fungus, Dory Fish, Enoki Mushroom, Maggi Noodles and green Noodles.

Very fragrant & spicy despite getting the least spicy!

5 ingredients you can get them deep fried:

• Potato

• Lotus

• Dory Fish

• Eggs

• Luncheon Meat

After picking your ingredients, you will be directed to a machine where you choose and weigh your food. There will be a staff there helping you out. If you opt for soup, you can choose to separate your fried ingredients if you want. But for the dry option, they don’t have such an option but they will still serve you as fried.

Worth it and I will come back again!! Hope they will have more noodles variety (udon)!!!
