It is in the interest of Kwankwaso to take the Vice Presidency. Peter Obi is the man of the moment- Labor party chairman, Julius Abure

The chairman of Labour party, Julius Abure, has said that it is in the interest of the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso to serve as the running mate of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the 2023 elections.

There have been a debate about who would serve as a running mate if both parties merge for the elections. Kwankwaso granted an interview on Sunday, July 3 where he dismissed the possibility of running as vice-presidential candidate for Peter Obi.

In a tweet posted on the party's handle this evening, the Party chairman was quoted as saying it would be in Kwankwaso's interest to run with Peter Obi who ''is the man of the moment- Labor party chairman''

If you know Obi please tell him not to use Kwankwanso. Obi pick a young man 35-45, from the north(preferably Kaduna), someone who is a muslim(for equity and justice), someone who is honest and shares the same vision of a better Nigeria with you. Leave these old men alone. We want a northern youth with clean hands, maybe a lecturer that can do grassroot politics.

Internet political warriors never win elections here in Nigeria. Insultive Igbos should keep ranting senselessly instead of forming alliances that can win the Presidential election.

All KWANKWOSO does is talk about ethnicity, region etc.......NONSENSE. We are not fools like our parents. We, OBIDIENT supporters of Labour Party, are NO longer interested in this FRUITLESS marriage with NNPP.. LIARS, CHEATERS.. ALLAH will help us achieve our dreams for youths in their productive years. Time to put this matter to rest, and focus on PETER OBI. It is not by force to join. if not for a corrupt country ruled by tribalists and terrorists, all the remaining candidates will have no chance. Thank you, Buhari for finishing the country and exposing the true intention of your Fulani people. Even if Peter Obi wins, Biafra, and Oduduwa is the way forward. Imagine the North afraid to separate bcos they have nothing but holding the whole South in bondage.

The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future”- Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Saurdana of the Sokoto Caliphate and Premier of Northern Nigeria, Parrot Newspaper, 12th October, 1960. Never allow them to have control over their future- Ahmadu Bello. Fulani terrorists from Guinea never allow this territory natives which owns the land have control over their future. Is Ahmadu Bello words of 1960 not very visible in fulani agenda? Fulani agenda which is to keep this territory natives under fulani rule. As long as fraudulent Electoral Structure of fulani Aso Rock is in place, as long as INEC chairman is a fulani. This territory natives who are so-called PVC holders are empty handed farmers which want to go to farm. Fraudulent Electoral Structure by state is the instrument with which fulani caliphate in Sokoto and fulani Aso Rock in Abuja rig elections in favour of fulani terrorists from Guinea so as to keep this territory natives under fulani rule. Fulani caliphate in Sokoto and fulani Aso Rock in Abuja which rejected democratic Electoral Structure by tribe in which all native tribes of this territory are represented in the parliaments based on their population. The way we this territory natives which owns the land liberated from the bondage of British rule in 1960, so also must we liberate from the bondage of fulani rule in this 2022 in which the six geopolitical zones are sovereign states. End of fulani Aso Rock is our liberation as this territory natives from the bondage of fulani rule. Only the Sword decides.

Man of the moment amongst Igbo people you mean? Who's going to vote for a man that has followers that threaten anyone that criticizes him just like IPOB threatens them to stay at home twice a week? What is his solution to the enforced sit-at-home in his home state? What is his solution to that, has anyone bothered to ask him or its just about saving money? /

Nigeria has been plagued by a myriad of problems since 2015, the worst security breaches have played out in the north but no part of the country has been spared, so why pretend now that IPOB "sit at home" is our only problem? Buhari became president in spite of Boko Haram, Jonathan became president in spite of Niger Delta agitation, both men tackled those problems with varying degrees of success/failure. When the time comes the issue of IPOB and all the other uncountable problems facing the country will be dealt with. Peter Obi with the support of the people is more than capable and equal to the task.

Can Kwankwaso or Tinubu win in the SE, SS, Middle belt or North Central. Even Tinubu's support in the SW is suspect. These guys should should go and sit down and stop making noise. If PO is such a lightweight, leave him alone let us, his supporters, continue in our delusion.

Peter Obi is the most competent, most trusted across generations especially the by the youths and all those that truly want the progress of Nigeria,. He is the youngest candidate, most intellectually sound, most credible with verifiable and proven track record, most educated, he has been to the world's best educational nstitutions with credentials to show, he has character and has shown responsibility. He is not your regular corrupt politician, he is patriotic and firm believer of the Nigeria project, most visionary, most promising and has the capability and will to put this country on the pathway of progress. The best available candidate at the moment.

I suspected Kwakwanso was a bigot when Bashir El Rufai found comfort in his words. I got round to watching the interview and was disgusted with myself and Kwakwanso. Myself because I had swallowed the idea that Kwakwanso was a progressive politician. Kwakwanso because in 30 minutes he outdid Buhari in dividing us along our natural fault lines. It was unbecoming of a man touted as a nationalist. I have come to the realisation that there is no hope for the North and Nigeria in general. Aside from Peter Obi, all other presidential aspirants are playing the ethnic card. Tinubu is singing "Emi lokan", "Awa lokan". Kwakwanso: I will get votes because I am a northerner, arrogance, sheer arrogance. That Atiku quickly deleted his post condemning Deborah's cold blooded murder speaks volume. He can't even be bothered with campaigning, he knows his votes are assured in the North because of his ethno-religious affiliations. This style of engaging the country by these politicians has not ended well for the North and Nigeria. The day we Nigerians start voting based on credibility and not on tribal sentiments, we would have started the long arduous journey to discovering a greater Nigeria. Nigeria needs Peter Obi more than he needs Nigeria.

STOP CLOTHING OBI IN A BORROWED ROBE, HE IS NOT A SAINT It is very ridiculous and very unfortunate the level the supporters of Mr. Peter Obi has taken his ambition of becoming Nigeria President to, from cyber bullying, to personality attack, unbridled religion bigotry to crude ethnic sentiments, which makes one to wonder whether it's Igbo or Christian President alone that Mr. Obi is aspiring to be. This is a man who has penchant for telling bare-faced lies and will stop at nothing to portray himself as a Saint, I recall during the Vice Presidential Debate in 2019,how he was dishing out data and figures which when fact-checked turned out to be outright lies. Just like he claimed at a public lecture in Lagos that he wore one wrist watch for 13 years only for media to publish photographs of him wearing several watches in one year. His claim of leaving office without any debt also turned out be another falsehood, as a check of Debt Management Office Website as at December 31st 2013 revealed that Anambra under him was owing 3 Billion Naira domestic debt and external debt of $30.3 Million. A total debt of 7.5 Billion in Naira, although his successor Mr. Obiano claimed he inherited 127 Billion Naira. His claim of providing efficient and improved electricity supply during his tenure only exist on pages of newspapers. As a neo-liberal advocate, he played a major role in the failed privatization of power sector, as an active member of the National Economic Council Committee on Power Sector Reform. Mr Obi, just like any other bourgeois and opportunist political office holder used public position to enhance his personal business interest and that of his close associates at the expense of the masses. For example how does buying 1000 vehicles at once at a whopping amount of 4 Billion Naira, become an achievement in a state like Anambra that is in dare need of basic infrastructure, only for the vehicles to be distributed to his cronies. In his bid to run away from proper funding of education, he returned 1040 public schools to their previous owners without building any public school throughout his eight years tenure only to dash these proprietors whopping 4 Billion Naira of public funds and continued to fund them throughout his tenure without building one public school or hospital, he practically privatized most of the existing public schools. When I see some youths jumping up and down for Obi I just pity them, may be because they have a very short memory and are not students of history. This was a man as governor of Anambra that vehemently resisted paying 18,000 minimum wage only for him to increase the School fees of the State University from 36,000 to between 86,000 to 120,000. His refusal to implement minimum wage then led to shutdown of public hospitals for 13 months in 2011,his response to demand of workers then was threat of no work no pay. Eventually when he was forced to pay after strike action, he vindictively sacked a number of workers. Most of his so-called achievements are nothing but misplaced priorities, throwing money at projects without proper conceptualization and impact analysis, most of which turned out to be projection of personal vested interest at the expense of the masses. No wonder they ended up not being sustainable. In a classical case of abuse of office and using public position to advance personal interests, he invested $30 Billion of Anambra fund in Brewery owned by his family. He invested #300 million in TRACAS through ANIDS only to declare it a private venture and handed it to a private company, when he was about leaving office. The company never paid a dime to Anambra state coffers. Lagos State Police Command under Marvel Akpoyibo arrested on Sunday, June 1st 2009 an Anambra State Government vehicle with #250 million raw cash at Aerodrome Street Apapa, the corporate headquarters of Mr. Obi's company Major source of Anambra IGR are from the markets and motor parks, Mr. Obi handed over all markets and motor parks in Anambra to his uncle, and throughout his tenure the highest the state was able to generate monthly was #400 million, only for Obiano to raise it to #1.4 billion monthly within a year of assuming office. Politically, Obi does not have anything in common with the downtrodden and masses of this country, he is just one of those opportunists, hungry for political power. He betrayed APGA that gave him the platform and ticket to be Governor of Anambra State, jumping to PDP in his search for power at all costs, when it became clear to him that he had no chance of picking PDP's ticket. He ran to labour party, a rolling stone, with no ideology nor principle, propelled only by inordinate ambition. Nigeria of today is too big and delicate for a school boy like Obi who needs to go to Egypt to learn how to run efficient power system, imagine how many short courses and overseas trips he will need to make for transportation, housing, environment, health, education, aviation etc. Nigeria cannot afford any dangerous experimentation now, let us be properly guided.
