- [Instructor] You may be already familiar with the keyboard shortcuts for cutting, copying, and pasting. Control X to cut, Control C to copy, Control V to paste. What's new in Windows 10 and still works here in Windows 11, is the ability now to paste something that's been copied into a command prompt. That's what we're going to explore in this movie. You can see I've launched notepad. You can do the same if you like, and type in the following information that I've typed. To display information about your IP address and more, simply type ipconfig at a command prompt in Windows. Well, in this case it's a very short command but imagine some of the longer ones, we can copy the command, which is ipconfig by first double clicking to select it. Now we'll use the keyboard shortcut Control C, once it's copied we can now paste it elsewhere, including a command prompt. So let's launch our command prompt by going down to the…
