ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting vs ACCA Financial Reporting exam (F7) 👀 Candidates who successfully pass the DipIFR exam can continue ACCA Qualification and receive ONE exemption from Financial Reporting (FR) exam (formerly F7). However, these exams are not 100% similar to each other. DipIFR focuses more on reporting and consolidation issues, while FR exam tests a wide range of topics, including financial analysis and technological aspects. DipIFR has a lower pass rate for a number of reasons including the following: 🔸 ACCA DipIFR is not based on multiple choice tests. There are 4 compulsory questions that are a combination of numerical and narrative style tasks. Candidates generally find the latter more challenging than calculations. 🔸 ACCA FR exam candidates usually have more experience in the exam technique than DipIFR candidates, as the former have attempted other ACCA exams.
