I'll be hosting another SAE International in Silicon Valley meetup before August comes to a close: LEVEL 2 HANDS-OFF AUTOMATED DRIVING Expert talk by Johanna Josten at fka GmbH Aug 29: 6:00p networking > 6:30p program > 7:30p networking Nordic Innovation House - Silicon Valley (470 Ramona, Palo Alto, CA) Registration: https://lnkd.in/g-ricc4T ABSTRACT: Which technological and ergonomic requirements need to be fulfilled to compensate potentially adverse driver behavior when monitoring Level 2 driving assistance systems? During the 2-year-research project Level 2 Hands-off, five potential challenges regarding driver behavior were addressed, yielding results from both expert- and customer-based field tests as well as multiple controlled driving simulator studies. In this talk, crucial aspects for a safe system design will be illustrated by highlights from the data collections, with a special focus on driver’s visual attention. I hope to see you there...

Charles River Associates organised a fascinating breakfast meeting today (Chatham House Rules) with Kaluza to discuss V2X - a broader term including V2G. Feels we are still a long way away from this being standard tech but good insight. The challenge is to think about this tech from the customers experience and how is it would it be to make customers want to adopt it. Will the power supplier work with the customer, are car OEMs thinking about the customer not just tech and so on… #futuremobility

No more guesswork when it comes to knowing what ASC events are being fired, and who is (or isn't) firing them. Get this going today for easy ASC event visibility!
ASC Events can now be tracked within the Orbee Platform Console, with Orbee’s latest update. 👉🏻 Introducing the Automotive Standards Council (ASC) Event Listener, a new tool designed to track all of the ASC events fired from a dealership’s website into their GA4 account. This new tool can assist users in identifying when events are firing, which vendor is firing the event, and what parameters are being sent with each event.
