In Akan culture - Ghana 🇬🇭 Fontomfrom ( Talking Drum) is the biggest drum of the drum ensemble. It is mostly used to communicate royal messages. The Fontomfrom ensemble provides music for ceremonies honoring Akan chiefs and royal processions. It can also be used to recite proverbs or replicate patterns of speech at most Akan royal gatherings. HY'D BDE Shani Louk a'h 🥲 💔 *HEARTBREAKING:* The body of Shani Louk, who was abducted from the music festival in Re'im by Hamas terrorists to the Gaza Strip, has been identified by IDF soldiers in Gaza. The 23-year-old Louk, who held dual Israeli and German citizenship, was "kidnapped, tortured, paraded around Gaza by Hamas terrorists, and experienced unfathomable horrors." "It is with great sadness that we announce the death of my sister," her sister Adi Louk said on social media.

Narveen Aryaputri « Anyone seeing the expression of Divine in pre-Colonial days in Bharat, the land the British dubbed as 'India' after their colonization, will sew the use of Black Granite for the following reasons: 1: Black, a value, since it is not on the color wheel, absorbs all color. Chosen to represent the Divine, it is the most appropriate since the Divine absorbs all. 2: Black, a value, is the Cosmos. The Cosmos is not a color. It absorbs all. 3: Black Granite has the quality of reflecting and glowing with the Abhishek of the 5 different ingredients used during the ritual when the idols are being prepared for their daily visitation. White marble doesn't have that quality since it does not reflect and shine like Black Granite does. Thank you, @Oládélé Dosunmu for this moving and extremely meaningful song. It is incredible the enormous and hugely extensive fault played on the whole world by usurping the value of GOD by projecting GOD as a male on the other value of the color wheel: White, which, like Black is a value and a non-color. White rflects all color and absorbs none. Black absorbs all color and reflects none. Please help circulate this song. The Vatican erred in attempting to sweep it under the carpet, attempting to block it in the hidden vaults of its theology, restricted to the Vatican. In this era of Self-Realization this song does not only need to be resurrected, no pun intended, but it needs to highlight the way, throwing the proverbial light on the path of discarding the hoax. #africa #africanart #africanunion #africandiaspora #africanexcellence #culture #cultura #culturalawareness #culturalheritage #vatican #christianity » The Emerging Alkebulan (Alkebulan Innovative Foundation)
Passionate about seeing the Alkebulan of my dream emerge. I am unapologetically African. We are building the Emerging Alkebulan. Titles don't matter. Disrupting the status quo. Thought provoker. Pan African to the core.
This song of the 80s caused ripples in the Church to the extent that the Vatican asked the Bishops in DRC to intervene. Mobutu also stepped in to curb the spread of the song. Most of us black Africans who don’t speak Lingala did not know what the song was about until now that it is subtitled in English. This is a rendition of the original song but the lyrics and music is unchanged. This song is so deep and asks the right questions. Time to De-colonise our minds 😌 #Africa #Africadiaspora #AlkebulanAwakening #AlkebulanRenaissance #Africanhistory #EmergingAlkebulan #Oladelesthoughts The Emerging Alkebulan (Alkebulan Innovative Foundation) Sam Mensah BSc, LLM, ATT, CTA

Founder & Artistic Director at The Jerusalem Youth Chorus | Co-Director for Music at Braver Angels | Forbes 30 Under 30 for Music
This in-depth, 10-minute story from PBS NewsHour about the Jerusalem Youth Chorus really captures both the nuance and power of our work, as we bring Palestinian and Israeli youth together through song and dialogue and show the world that a different way is not only possible, but necessary. Excited that the clip features our time together with the Rumi Forum and ADAMS BEAT, the only masjid youth chorus in the US. Indebted to my dear friends and partners Ibrahim A. Anli and Hurunnessa Fariad for their bravery and leadership in these polarizing times. And of course Adas Israel Congregation for hosting nearly 1,0000 people at our unforgettable concert in Washington. Thank you to the One America Movement for their support of our tour and to Anne Davenport and Jeffrey Brown at NewsHour for lifting up our singers' voices so beautifully in this time where only those who shout seem to be getting the mic. We're changing that.

My view on Elon Musk's talk on Peace & War AI Alien & Consciousness. What is our understanding of the meaning of Peace? As Elon using the word "Peace" , i understand that he is using it more in a physical and historical way in opposition of war. He is using the word "action of kindness" to minimize the rage of War and Terrorists. https://lnkd.in/e-Q5wd-r
