Informative
A small animation on process of Translation that occurs in Ribosomes of Cytoplasm.
Basic components for the process of Translation :
Nucleic acids (DNA & RNA)
DNA (De-oxy Ribonucleic Acid, Double Standard )
RNA (Ribonucleic Acid, Single Standard)
Classification : Mainly 3 types of RNA
messenger-RNA = Copies the instructions of DNA for building Protein take it to the ribosomes.
ribosomal-RNA = Site where instructions are translated into Proteins.
Transfer-RNA = Transfer specific amino acids to the ribosomes for the production of Proteins.
Nucleoside : A component of heredity materials composed of Nitrogen bases & Pentose Sugar.
Nucleotide : A component of heredity materials composed of Nitrogen bases, Pentose Sugar & Phosphate group.
DNA replication is mainly production of DNA from DNA, that is DNA to DNA. This process is mainly occur in the Nucleus.
DNA transcription is mainly production of mRNA from DNA, that is DNA to mRNA. This process is mainly occur in the Cytoplasm.
DNA translation is mainly production of Proteins from DNA & mRNA, that is the process by which DNA is converted into Proteins is called Translation. This process is mainly occur in the Ribosomes of Cytoplasm.
Start Codon : AUG
Stop Codon : UAA, UAG, UGA .
The mRNA interacts with a specialized complex, a ribosome, which "reads" the sequence of mRNA nucleotides. Each sequence of three nucleotides, called a codon, usually codes for one particular amino acid.
