This past week I was invited to be a guest speaker at the UCONN Neag School of Education's PK-3 Leadership Program. I was a participant in this program last year, which inspired me to join the University of Colorado Denver P-3 Leadership Program this year where I get to learn alongside educators from across the country. It was such an honor to be invited back to speak to this year's cohort about the importance of developmentally appropriate formative assessment practices that are research-based and support effective and meaningful teaching and learning PK - Grade 3!
