🌼 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞! 🌸 As the sun warms up the days, I find myself embracing the season with open arms. Here are a few highlights that have brought me immense joy: 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Watching the marathon alongside my daughter last week was a great experience. I've applied once again and will do everything within my power to take part next year, well done to everyone who took part this year - the event is very inspiring! 🏃♀️👨👧 𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬: Becoming an uncle for the first time last week has been lovely. The arrival of a new family member is a beautiful reminder of life’s precious moments. 👶❤️ 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬: The sun is beaming down as I write this post, it does make such a difference to our days, I love the lighter evenings and warmer weather.🌺🌿 Meanwhile, over at TopScore Tech, things are buzzing with excitement! Last Thursday, I had the privilege of attending the targetjobs UK National Graduate Awards. 🌟Congratulations to all the nominees and winners who showcased exceptional talent and dedication. Your achievements deserve applause and recognition. I’m also delighted to share that I’ve reached a significant milestone: one year at TopScore Tech! 🚀 It’s been a great career move for me, I've enjoyed the experience and learnt so much in such a short time. Happy April, everyone!🌷 Four months into the year, and it’s the perfect time to reflect on those New Year’s resolutions. I’m not normally one for setting them, but this year felt different. I laid out some ambitious goals, and I’m excited to share how they’re going! 🚀 1️⃣ Career Heights: I aimed to have the best year of my career so far working at TopScore Tech, and I’m happy with my progress so far and excited for what's to come. 🌟 2️⃣ Sober Lifestyle: I decided to explore life without alcohol for a year or more. Three months in, and I’m loving the clarity and extra energy. Cheers to the sober life with a cuppa in hand! ☕ 3️⃣ Quality Time with My Daughter: Every moment spent with my daughter is precious. From our weekend adventures to storytime, it’s all about being present and enjoying the time we have. 👨👧 4️⃣ Running & Fitness: I’ve hit the ground running, literally! Getting back into my running shoes has been fantastic for my fitness levels, and I’m committed to keeping this up. 🏃♂️💪 And... there’s more good news! I had the pleasure of attending the IHR - In-house Recruitment Early Careers Conference, a fantastic forum for ideas and insights. The conference was an eye-opener with its top-notch talks and the opportunity for meaningful roundtable discussions on early careers.🚀 A special shoutout to Lauren Williams for leading an insightful panel discussion with some of our esteemed clients, including Paul Sobers, Hollie Powell, Gwynne Goodfield BEM, and Toby Gordon. Your ability to run the panel in such a cool, calm and collected manner is very commendable 👏. Navigating through this week has been quite an experience! 🔄 It kicked off with a challenge – both my daughter and I caught the dreaded Norovirus.🤒 It was a tough 24-hour stretch, but we've bounced back quickly.
