🎉 Today, the christening of the new Research Vessel (RV) “Wim Wolff” for NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research took place at her home port Texel and is now ready for starting research in the North Sea coastal zone, the Delta and the Wadden Sea. We are delighted and grateful as Alphatron Marine to be part of this great achievement and wish the vessel and her crew "Fair winds and following seas" ⚓ 👏 For the “Wim Wolff" Alphatron Marine delivered the innovative modular AlphaBridge consoles including a complete Multi-function navigation system and Navis Engineering Oy Dynamic Positioning (DP) system. Besides that Alphatron Marine delivered the full communication equipment, and Info- and entertainment system (IPTV) from Bazeport The Research Vessel (RV) “Wim Wolff” replaces the Research Vessel (RV) “Navicula” which served for forty years in coastal research.
