This week, our team members from Costa Rica, Panama, and Argentina had a wonderful time together at a shared workspace. It's truly amazing when we come together and feel like a united global family. 🌐✨

#weekap Thanks to #hybrid work that is offered by Swiss Life Deutschland also by having several offices all over #germany, our team members can work from anywhere they want nationalwide. Still, this week the whole #team went to #Hamburg to visit our colleagues that are located there and are having a lovely view on the Osterbekkanal.
The timing wasn't coincidential, we decided to use the day to do a full sprint change onsite and fill the remaining time slots for having a #lunch together and having live exchanges with each other.
This didn't just happen unstructured, but rather with including an #agilesimulation, a little kick-off work session and as part of the sprint change, obviousely a #retrospective.
I chose a very sensitive format that required a certain level of #trust within the team and the work over the recent weeks and months gave me the confidence that we are mature enough, so I thought the #timing was right to foster a sensitive and #open exchange.
And the team proved me right, as they were very open to fill the format with valuable content, respectful #feedback and constructive discussions.
This #transparency gave us the direct opportunity to identify spots where we need to #inspect and #adapt and for me felt more efficient than the recent #remote sessions, convincing me:
Even with a great digital setting, the #energy of a in-person-meeting is unlikely to beat.
Shoutout to my #team for an already great time we had and even greater times we will have in the future 😊
Not exactly sure what everyone was laughing about but we were definitely having fun together on one of our weekly team coffee calls with Gracjan, Marek and Pawel in Poland, Jennifer in Mexico and Claire in Ireland. 😀
Topics covered:
🌍 Favourite place in the world to visit (Paris and Gdansk both got a mention)
🦓 Jay walking in Poland (clue: they don't)
Join our coffee convo and tell us your favourite place to visit... ☕

I am having a really bad issue with a branch manager from Enterprise rental car by the name of Maclean Holbrook out of North Carolina.
I believe that some of the branches are targeting and scamming out of towners.
Price gouging, over charging and suing folks for damages that are not made by them. I’ve experienced both. And made complaints to corporate with no response.
Maclean is trying to charge me for damages to the outside top roof of the vehicle I rented in Indianapolis! That first, I had no idea was there. How or why would I?
If I had known that I should have taken pictures of the suv from top to bottom before I took it, I would’ve!
I know now!!!
I feel like I was targeted because I left the vehicle after hours in a different state. I took pictures of the vehicle as I was returning it to the NC branch and a video of myself putting the keys in the night deposit box.
No one ever told me I had to inspect the top of the roof of a vehicle before I rent it. And of course, the branch I rented from has NO DOCUMENTED DAMAGES…🙄 I’m sure…
And also, I might add that there were NO OTHER DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE!!! Just the roof!!!🫤
I have been sorely put out by this. Now, I’m stressed out about being falsely charged as I am falsely accused.
I rent from enterprise often. I always give good reviews. I’ve never had trouble. Or damaged any car I’ve been in possession of.
I believe that an opportunity to get money was discovered or created and I am being made out to be the fall gal.
I’m wondering if someone from the branch did it! Because this whole scenario seems really suspect as far as I’m concerned.
My rental was cleared by the office in Carolina, she called the Indy branch to let them know. I received my receipt and my deposit and the rep even waived the return to a different location fee as a courtesy. Then I get a call from MACLEAN, (I can’t stand this guy right now), stating he’s filing a claim for damages that I DID to the rental. I’m trying to figure out how does he just outright say that I made those damages?!
The branch manager here in Indy says don’t worry I’m in the clear. The rental had already closed so he can’t go back and make a claim. I call NC back. I let Maclean have it. Then he sends me an email stating the Indy branch said to go ahead pursue damages and so, he put in his request to pursue me.
His own assistant branch mgr stated that he doesn’t know why he’s doing what he’s done. The damages were and are old and it is obvious. And he inspected the vehicle after it had already been passed for the return of my deposit. That’s suspect.
I requested WHOLE VEHICLE photos. Maclean would only send pics of the damaged area and then also added a “ding” to the report but I was absolutely NOT given what I asked for so that I could see IF it’s even the vehicle I was actually driving.
Someone needs to do something about this guy and stop this type of thing from happening to other customers. I’m still waiting.
President and Chief Executive Officer at Enterprise Mobility
I've had the pleasure to spend this week in Spain seeing firsthand the incredible work our teams are doing. From Barcelona to Madrid, it was terrific to talk and listen to employees and see the Enterprise culture in action at every stop. Gracias, Renzo Roncal and Team Spain! #iwork4enterprise
We know that we all work at our best when we can bring our whole selves to work and that means having the flexibility and the time to do the things that are important to us - that fit around our life, beliefs, ambitions and family.
With this in mind, we are delighted to launch our new Working from Elsewhere Policy. We can now apply to extend a trip home to visit family or friends in the UK or overseas to include a period of working from there before returning. This allows the team to join celebrations, familiar customs or just connect with the important people in their lives who they might not necessarily see very often.
Alice AUDUON in our Category team was able to take advantage of this policy and here’s what she said about it:
“I am so glad to be working for a company which trusts me to get the work done, even from a different location. I get to go back to France and see family and friends and spend quality time with them without necessarily having to take time off. The Organix teams have all been open-minded and supportive when I asked to work from France a couple of times a year. In a more than ever intercultural and international world, it is so important for companies to understand what true equality means for their employees. Thank you Organix for listening to my needs and for giving me the opportunity and flexibility to feel more fulfilled in my own way!
I am looking forward to hearing how my fellow Organix colleagues make the most of our ‘Working from Elsewhere’ policy, either to visit family, friends or just change scenery for a few days or weeks!”
With views like this we understand why Alice would enjoy returning home.
