From UCF to the big screen 🎥 For Monica Sorelle ’12, her film "Mountains" transcends cinema, serving both as a vivid snapshot of present-day Little Haiti and a tribute to the resilient Haitian community that shaped its vibrant identity. Since its premiere in 2023, "Mountains" has garnered widespread acclaim, earning recognition and awards at major film festivals such as Tribeca and Indie Memphis.

Don’t be surprised to see a group of Knights on the Milwaukee Bucks’ court during the 2024-25 season. 👀 5️⃣ UCF College of Engineering & Computer Science students secured victory with their data-driven solutions, earning VIP seats at a game next season. 🏀 The Hackathon invited teams of undergraduate students to solve a business analytics problem in a virtual competition. Teams were asked to analyze three different business data sets with more than 250,000 data points in an effort to provide ticketing strategies and improve the fan experience.
