🤷♂️ How scalable is this? 🤷♂️ This is one of the questions we always ask each other here at Workwize when starting a new process. It is crucial for the success of a company to build processes that are still working with 10,000+ employees or customers. Therefore, it is important to create processes that work the same for each person or customer and that won't change as you add new team members or customers. This is exactly the same for equipping employees worldwide. Due to the limited product catalog, the reach of vendors, the overview of assets, and logistical services, equipment management can become an unscalable manual process. Resulting in different processes per country and, even worse, a different employee experience for everyone outside of the HQ area.

🕸️ In the past 3 years I have seen 100’s of complex flowcharts 🕸️ All these flowcharts showed the manual and complex process of equipping and retrieving equipment for employees. I keep remembering one comment from someone when going over his company's equipment retrieval process. “I once tried to retrieve a monitor from an employee who would leave within a few days, and I think I aged a year in the process! 😅” Nowadays, managing equipment for remote and hybrid teams can become a very complex process due to the different departments involved and the geographical distribution of employees.
