Many of you will know that for the last 7 months Laura had been training to run the London Marathon, not only run it, but with a 25kg fridge on her back (you drivers will understand the weight of a fridge, let alone run with it!) ⭐ The determination, attitude, positivity, ownership, hardwork that Laura shown during the training and Marathon was just sheer heroism 🦸🏻♀️ The first women to ever run a marathon with a fridge on her back 🏆 🏃🏻♀️ 26.2 miles, 76,000 steps, 7 hours and 29 minutes. 🏃🏻♀️ Laura didn't give up, she didn't let the aches and pains stop her, nothing got in her way to cross that finish line. 🏁 The atmosphere and motivation from the support she received on the day was the best! An emotional day, a rewarding day, up there with one of the most incredible days ever! 📣🎉 Laura has managed to raise a whopping £14,121 for the Rays of Sunshine Charity who fulfil the wishes of children, between the ages of 3-18 in the UK, of any race or gender who are terminally or seriously ill. 🌍 This #EarthDay at Wiser Environment, we're celebrating Laura Bird's extraordinary commitment, not just to sustainability but to making a difference in children's lives. We're immensely proud of her amazing achievement in the London Marathon. 🏃♀️🌿Dubbed the "human powered fridge," Laura showcased incredible endurance by running the marathon with a 25kg fridge strapped to her back.
