The 2021/2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has been revealed. What is updated on the 2021 when you compare it to the 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross? Let’s look at the two SUVs side-by-side: Interior Design, Technology, Features, and Warranty

As sharp as it was before, the Eclipse Cross got a nice facelift and other changes taken from customer feedback. Though it is not yet available instore for purchase, you can start planning ahead. Let’s take a look at what we can expect with this Mitsubishi.

First taking a walk around the vehicle, you’ll notice the rear hatch has changed. The previous versions of the Eclipse Cross had a 2 section rear window with a bar through the middle. The 2021/2022 now has a solid window increasing driver visibility. The design is also more distinctive yet still holds the sharp Eclipse Cross look. The rear headlights also have an update. They have a 3 dimensional look that extends up and out. The tailgate also has a sharper design that looks similar to the company iconic hexagon design.

In the front, you’ll find a nice headlight revamp with smaller and thin line LEDs. The chrome is removed and instead finished in black. It matches the new black interior with silver accents and light gray leather seats. The technology is upgraded to 8-inch smartphone-link display audio system that’s moved closer to driver and per customer request, a physical button for volume control was added and also the touchpad was removed to allow for more storage space on the center console.

Though a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is being released, unfortunately, the PHEV model of the Eclipse Cross will not be yet made available in the US.
