Lokernas.id Help Job Seekers Find Dream Jobs

Given these conditions, the presence of information media about job vacancies is very helpful, one of which is lokernas.id. This media was founded by Hendro Mardika, as well as the founder who oversees several educations.

In this difficult time of the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs. Moreover, getting job vacancies is also increasingly difficult because many companies are refocusing.

There are very few companies looking for new employees. Even if there are job vacancies, the competition is many times more than before the pandemic.

“Lokernas.id was established with the intention of providing easy information for job seekers throughout Indonesia. In order to find out information on available vacancies,” explained Hendro Mardika in his statement, Thursday (12/8/2021).

Lokernas was established in 2017, starting with re-uploading locker information from the official job recruiter website. Hendro founded lokernas.id based on his desire to provide information that the public can trust and does not harm job seekers.

Thus, lokernas.id was born which can be accessed through social media and the official website. On Instagram alone, this account already has as many as 1 million followers.

“In the beginning, there were not many visitors who were interested in opening the website because they were just starting out and not much was known,” he said.

But without being discouraged, he kept trying to provide locker info every day, until finally he was increasingly recognized and trusted as one of the places to find locker info in Indonesia.

Provides Lots of Job Vacancies Info for Job Seekers

Many job vacancies specifications are provided by this platform, ranging from private lockers, BUMN to CPNS. The variety of job vacancies information makes it easier for job seekers to find a profession that matches their qualifications.

Recruiters can also participate by sending information on job vacancies that are currently needed, after which they will be posted on lokernas.id media.

“Recruiters can contact the CP (contact person) in the bio or via DM (direct message) on Instagram. Then the team will filter or check the feasibility, accuracy and truth of the information,” said Hendro.

Strict screening is carried out to prevent the occurrence of false job vacancies information that is detrimental to job seekers. If there is information that is stuck, Hendro will immediately refuse cooperation.

“One of the conditions for cooperation with us is that it must come from a clear company. We also provide education to our followers to be careful with fake locker info,” he said.

Hendro believes in making lokernas.id a website and social media for job vacancies that are trusted and most sought after by the public. So, it can help reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia every year.

“This media will continue to grow, providing accurate and reliable information that can be reached by all circles of society. We hope that through lokernas.id the unemployment rate in Indonesia will decrease,” concluded Hendro Mardika.

August 2021 Unemployment Rate Expected to Increase to 7.35 Percent

Restrictions on mobility and community activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia are expected to have an impact on increasing the unemployment rate.

Now, a number of regions in Indonesia are undergoing mobility restrictions or what is called PPKM level 4, especially in Java and Bali.

Center of Reform on Economics (CORE) economist Akhmad Akbar Susamto estimates that the open unemployment rate (TPT) in August 2021 is expected to rise to the range of 7.15 percent-7.35 percent.

According to him, the open unemployment rate in August 2021 will be higher than the unemployment rate in August 2020, which was 7.07 percent, and February 2021, which reached 6.26 percent.

“So the situation in August will likely be worse than in August 2020 and February 2021,” explained Akhmad at the virtual CORE Midyear Review 2021, Tuesday (27/7/2021).

Meanwhile, the workforce structure is also expected to be affected due to activity restrictions, which is now called PPKM level 4.

Akhmad estimates that the proportion of the informal sector will be greater than that of formal sector workers, in the range of 60 percent-61 percent, in August 2021.
