Comhairle na Mumhan CCE are once again offering two Part-Scholarships (worth €325) to music teachers who are attending this year's TTCT Course which takes place in the Cultúrlann in Dublin from October 30th- Nov 5th 2022
The application is open to current members of Comhaltas in Munster. All applications for consideration must firstly have obtained their place in this course. Recipients will be selected by a draw at the September Comhairle na Mumhan Meeting.

TTCT Course The course is directed by Majella Bartley. This week-long course/examination will reinforce teacher's instrumental knowledge with an in-depth look at music theory and history, along with teaching technique and pedagogy. Teachers will be evaluated on their teaching ability in a real-world classroom environment and on submission of an essay exam. Teachers passing the course are awarded the TTCT Diploma, identifying you as one of the premier teachers of traditional music. It is essential that all candidates applying for the course have some prior experience of teaching traditional music. ​ Closing date for applications is August 12th 2022
