In 1989, TongYang Life Insurance initially started as a joint-venture company called “TongYang Benefit Life Insurance” with a starting capital of six billion won. Now, it has grown up as the most representative life insurance company with asset size of above 30 trillion won.

TongYang Life Insurance listed on marketable securities for the first time in the life insurance industry. It also possesses many other first ever titles such as introducing a profit and loss management system, developing accident compensation insurance, introducing 100-year maturity date of child insurance, and developing the family brand called “Guardian Angel”. With these ceaseless change and innovation, our company becomes an innovative insurer that pioneers the future.
