Tilde, from Manchester, U.K., has added the following text to the short clip: "Our dog taking himself to bed at 8 pm, acting like he's got a full-time job and 2 kids."

According to Alpha Paw: "Dogs spend 20 percent of their day being active, 30 percent being awake, but not active, and 50 percent of the day sleeping. This is especially true with Dachshunds, whose ancestors normally sleep a lot because of the nature of their work in the past."

The website states: "Dachshunds are hunting dogs. Thus, they normally sleep when they don't hunt to conserve energy. This natural tendency could still be seen in modern dachshunds today."

According to the dog supplier, pooches like Noodle can sleep for 14 hours a day.

Thousands of people have commented on the video and can't stop laughing at Noodle's human-like mannerisms.

His owner has received more than 41,000 likes on her comment, which said: "Acting like he be paying gas electric and child support."

A top fan wrote: "Noodle does have a full-time job, being the most liked dog on TikTok."

Others had commented to say what they think the canine was thinking when he turned round to look at his owners ahead of leaving the room.

One comment received more than 58,000 likes, saying: "He turned around and said, "please take care of the dishes before you go to bed."

Another popular comment with over 60,000 likes said: "Your dog takes himself to bed? LUCKY YOU!"

It seems the situation is familiar to many humans, one TikToker said: "He turned back like a parent would."

One user said: "The blanket, the slow walk, the goodnight look to everyone HAHA IT'S SO ACCURATE."

Another said: "It's a hard life."

It seems Noodle isn't the only sleepy dog Newsweek has reported about. Previously, we shared a story about a Golden Retriever's response to being woke up and an article about what your dog's sleeping position says about their relationship with you.
