Tickets for the 2024 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival have service charges and fees added when bought online. Tickets purchased at the gate this year will also have service charges.

But in what has become a popular tradition in recent years, the festival will sell single-day Jazz Fest tickets without additional fees on Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tipitina's, 501 Napoleon Ave.

Payment must be made with a credit card; cash will not be accepted.

Single-day tickets purchased in advance for every day except May 2, aka Rolling Stones Thursday, are $95. When those tickets are purchased online at www.nojazzfest.com, fees are added.

No tickets for May 2 are available.

The single-day ticket price increases to $105 plus fees on the first day of the festival.

The opening Thursday, April 25, is Locals Thursday. Louisiana residents can buy up to two tickets for that day at the Fair Grounds gate for $50 each, without fees. Locals Thursday tickets are not included in the April 6 pre-sale at Tipitina's.

Neither are tickets for children ages 2-10, which are $5 and must be purchased at the Fair Grounds box office, with an adult present, on the day they are used. Children's tickets are not available for May 2.
