Paph. Latoya (Fanacticum x armeniacum) , NF2693
This charming hybrid was registered in 2018. This strain comes from Hung Sheng Bear of Hung Sheng Orchid Farm (Taiwan), a phenomenal grower and hybridizer of Paphs. Paph. Fanacticum is a primary hybrid of Paph. malipoense with Paph. micranthum. The addition of Paph. armeniacum (a miniature) in this hybrid reduces the size, making it compact. This cross should have a mix of yellow and green color tones. Some might be scented. Amazing mottled foliage.
Paphs detest soggy growing medium; pot in well-draining media. Grow them in bright light and warm temperature with high humidity and good air circulation. As with all Paphs, its roots are sensitive to salt buildup from excess fertilizer which causes leaf tips to turn brown. It is a good practice to flush the medium with fresh, clean water once a month and repot Paphs in fresh media every year. Can be grown on a bright windowsill or under lights. This hybrid is hard to find in the market. A “must have” for serious Paph collector.#Paph #hybrid #compact #mottledfoliage #windowsill #underlights #fragrant
PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
