Paph. Lynleigh Koopowitz (malipoense x delenatii var dunkei) NF2720
This is a modern remake of the very popular classic multi-floral Paph. Lynleigh Koopowitz using Paph. delenatii var. dunkel which is the darkest form of Paph. delenatii (sometimes called 'vinicolor') known for its darker foliage and nice cherry-red pouch color; it also has half the leaf span as the regular Paph. delenatii making it more compact.
Paphs detest soggy growing medium; pot in well-draining media. Grow them in bright light and warm temperature with high humidity and good air circulation. As with all Paphs, its roots are sensitive to salt buildup from excess fertilizer which causes leaf tips to turn brown. It is a good practice to flush the medium with fresh, clean water once a month and repot Paphs in fresh media every year. These plants do not need a cooler nighttime temperature to bloom as Paph. delenatii is from South Vietnam. These easy to grow plants make excellent companions with Phalaenopsis since they have similar requirements. Grows well on a bright windowsill or under lights. Highly recommended.
