You can play video games from anywhere these days—a home console, gaming PC, streamed over the internet, or on your smartphone or tablet. For many, loading up new devices with games is priority No. 1 in order to pass the time during a morning commute, at a doctor's office, or on the couch. Sometimes, however, a silly little phone game turns into hours of non-stop gameplay. If you're looking for the most addictive games you can play on your iPhone or Android phone, check out the list below. Good luck trying to get anything else done!

The Angry Birds franchise has expanded far and wide, to the point where it's hard to find a game now that doesn't appeal to mobile gamers. But we like to stick with the classics. Angry Birds 2 gives you exactly what you want from an Angry Birds game: shooting birds at evil pigs.

Remember the classic arcade game Breakout? While Ballz isn't exactly a clone of the game, it does operate on some of the same principles. You have a selection of blocks to break, and you must use your collection of balls to break them. It's a fun and mesmerizing time-waster.

Brawl Stars is a mobile-first battle royale specializing in 3v3 combat over multiple game modes. Unlock and upgrade different characters, complete quests, collect items and power-ups, grab unique skins, and discover new locations.

Color Road! is a simple enough concept—control a rolling ball while you collect balls that are the same color and avoid those that are different colors. But the difficulty level quickly ramps up as you go.

Looking for a fun party game? Draw Something is similar to Pictionary, where one player draws and others have to guess what the word is supposed to be. Toon Blast is like Candy Crush, except you get to blow things up instead of matching candies. The best part is being able to combine power-ups to unleash combos and finish each level.

Connect dots together in order to eliminate obstacles and fulfill your objective. This game may sound simple, but it gets harder once new requirements are added and your moves become more limited.

Combining elements of Tetris and sudoku, this wood block puzzle asks you to fill columns, rows, and squares to clear the board. Clear multiple rows at a time or clear blocks on every turn to gain extra points. How many points can you get before there are no more moves to make?

Somewhere along the way, Words With Friends became the ultimate social game for competitive wordsmiths. Unscramble letters and play the best words against friends, family, strangers, or even yourself in multiple game modes.
