Trapunto – what it is and how to do trapunto embroidery and quilting - a video sewing tutorial

In this sewing tutorial I want to talk about TRAPUNTO technique. What is trapunto? Trapunto is an Italian term for a style of quilting that creates designs in high relief. What trapunto means is that your quilt features great contrast in the loft of the design, giving it that lovely “embossed” appearance. You can do trapunto by hand, by sewing machine or by embroidery machine. Trapunto stitching is much more enjoyable when you have the right tools and supplies on hand.
