Austrian indie pop-rock singer-songwriter James Hersey released the fifth single called “Can't Say No” from his upcoming album “Let It Shine” on July 24, 2023.
He recorded the song in Los Angeles with producer Jeoff Harris.
The track was written by James Hersey, Jeoff Harris and Sean Van Fleet.
The accompanying music video was directed by Lars Zimmermann.
James Hersey said of the song, “I wrote this song the day a friend called me at 6am crying on her way to work. She'd finally reached a fork in the road - it was either her mental health or the relationship that would survive, not both.”
The new album is set to be released on September 15, 2023.
The album, produced by Jochen Naaf, features a puristic approach to recording with live instrumentation and a neo-vintage sound handcrafted in the studio with his friends Antonio Fortino and Daniel Schreiber on bass and drums.- source : Apple Music
