Steven A Hilarious! Good, clean fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/31/23 Full Review Google If you liked studio c Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/12/23 Full Review Jamie Its like Monty Python on the Oregon Trail. My whole family from 7 years old to 44 loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Bill $ Funniest movie of the year!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review bob w The trailer didn't look very promising, but having watched Studio C for some time, we thought we would give it a try. Wow--this movie is awful. The acting is so poor, even for sketch comedy that mocks itself. The writing was terrible, as if the writers were trying not to be funny. They didn't have any of the creativity and satire that they often had during the early Studio C episodes. This film was worse than a bad junior high school film project, but at least they would have an excuse. These were adults who tried to pull this off. Save yourself the time, the money, and the sanity you would lose watching this hot mess. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Cathy M If you think cannabalism, torture, dysentery, and snot rockets are funny, then this is the movie for you. Go West has the disjointed, half-arsed feel of a movie put together at the last minute without much effort, which I kind of expected, since that's the style of sketch comedy. I can see the production meeting: "Hey, let's make a funny western! All we have to do is put in every stereotype we can think of about what pioneers on the Oregon trail might face, and make it as crude, disgusting, and ridiculous as possible. Can't help but be hilarious, right?" Only one or two elements weren't completely offputting: the "Robert" story-line was kind of touching, and the relationship between two main characters was sweet, though underdeveloped. However most of it was so disgusting that at one point my adult daughter literally left the room gagging. There's no clever or witty humor here, and for the life of me I don't see how anyone can call this mess a "family comedy." One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Sorry, Studio C alums, I am no longer a fan. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
