You probably already know that hardcore, longtime smoking can produce lungs the color of tar and make breathing fresh oxygen more like sucking air through a straw. However, you probably haven’t fully understood the horrifying extent of the damage. Until now.
This new Vine vid demonstrates what healthy lungs look like, and then compares that set to a pair of smoker’s lungs. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it, y'all. It’s gross. Behold:
Ugh. Watching that black lung trying to expand and contract is utterly painful. When it comes to smoking, guys, you need ** to make like a grade-school kid and “just say no.” (I mean, please, just do it.) If you’re already hooked and currently trying to kick the habit, consider this extra motivation to seek an effective way to quit and get on a healthier path.
