What did you between the spizz-times....did you play in any other group?

-No but I have occasionally performed one of my songs as a guest spot in

other shows - usually performing "Where's Captain Kirk?"

Paint & play football

You have always been called a punkband, that without having that sound?

How come?

-Is punk limited to one sound? To me punk is not and should not be a formula. Many mainstream artists have borrowed or stolen punk elements.

What does punk mean to you , is it only a word or is it a lifestyle?

-To me punk means artistic freedom.

You have had a lot of different Spizz-names on your group, why did you do and which of them are you most satisfied with?

SPIZZOIL, SPIZZENERGI  & SPIZZSEXUAL

Which is the most frequent asked Spizz-song when you play live?

-WHERE'S CAPTAIN KIRK?

Which is your own favourite?

-Airships & Spocks Missing

Do you play any covers?

-Currently: Virginia Plain (Roxy Music), The Model (Kraftwerk)

Your video Soldier Soldier become banned 1981, why?

-The real reason why it was banned has never surfaced. It seems the use of

guns in the video and the depiction of a soldier (actually a showroom dummy) being blown to bits may have had something to do with it.

You like football, mostly to play but also to watch you say, which team do you support? (My team is named GAIS and is from Gothenburg)?

-Aston Villa

You paint also?

-Yes coming soon www.spizz.eu the spizz art site

You´re 47 now , a little bit older than me, is it OK to do the music you do, or isn´t it agelimits on punk and rock?

-Again the artistic freedom means that I will grow old disgracefully (I mean look at Mick Jagger & Keith Richards - why should they have all the fun?).

Do you play anything live nowadays and are you called Spizz Eneri then or  what?

-See list above - I just had to cancel a September London show because I

broke my left arm playing football last week.

When punk came, was it a relief and had you been involved in music before the punk came?

-Yes  - punk made it possible that you didn't have to wait to know every

musical note before making music. As for involvement I was a record buyer

and in the early stages of learning to play guitar (summer 1974)

Which was the first punkband you saw?

-David Bowie & The Spiders From Mars 1973

Which is the most important punk song ever?

-Anarchy In The UK & New Rose for starters but the others that followed

particularly some by the Clash. I can't pin down one.

What do you know about Sweden?

-Olof Mellberg, Sven-Göran Eriksson, ABBA, Ikea, Blonde hair, cold weather,   Is this a test for your tourist board?

Have you heard any swedish bands?

-Not much apart from ABBA

Is it many interviews nowadays?

-No

Is it boring?

-Not this one

Which is the question you never get but you want to have? Please ask it and answer it?

-I never get asked: What I would do with unlimited funds?

Answer: Spend it

Please rank your five memorable concerts you have been to?

-In chronological order:

David Bowie - B'ham Town Hall 1973,

The Clash - B'ham Barbarellas 1977,

Queen - Wembley 1986,

Alice Cooper - Marquee 1989,

Carbon Sillicon - London 2005

First, last and most expensive record ever bought?

-I can't remember

Most embarrasing record in your collection?

-There is nothing to be embarrassed about.

Politics and music, does it goes hand in hand?

-Any songwriter with an opinion is bound to weave how they feel on any given subject into their songs. If a song has a theme that is political then it will surely surface.

So say if you are a 'business musician' - your interest in music is to turn

out hits to make money you are unlikely to have much depth of meaning in

your work - politically. It is likely that such an artist will avoid

political issues. (example: Robbie Williams or Kylie Minogue)

Best political artist?

-Picasso

Futureplans for the band?

-I have no plan

For yourself?

-I don't know if I have a plan
