Agitated Emo rockers You Blew It! are as immediate as their punctuated band name. The Orlando based emo outfit take inspiration from the mid-west sounds created by artists such as Cap'n Jazz and Braid. Creating a stir in the blogosphere pretty much since their formation, their reputation exploded after the release of the 2012 LP 'Grow Up, Dude'. The boys have been enjoying the accolades ever since, having travelling all over with an energetic live show to support the album's release.
Having toured with emo rock aficionados You Me At Six, the band have had a masterclass and are still sculpting their live performance. It's already pretty high octane, with the quartet all being really well trained on their instruments and the quick wit of their lyrics means everything about their performance is slightly tongue & cheek. It allows the boys interaction with their crowds, getting audiences involved in chants of the crudest and most life personifying verses and mass clap alongs whilst the guitars extend tracks.
Die hard fans have made certain songs such as 'Award Of The Year Award' their personal anthems as they proudly scream lyrics back to the band during the frantic choruses. Whilst the band clearly have favourites too, 'Terry vs Tori' sees them really release every bit of energy onstage as fans applaud wildly.
