For new MINI buyers it is important to get the features you desire, whilst those looking at a used MINI may need clarification of what a pack on a used car includes, as it will have been put on when new.

Therefore, we thought we would put together a simple guide to help new and used MINI buyers when searching for their ideal MINI, so that they can make sure they have all the options they require.

In the guide below, we will firstly take a look at packs available to order with a new MINI. We will also cover packs found on used MINIs too. You can then browse our new and used MINI offers with a complete understanding of the options available.

MINI Comfort Pack

The clue is in the name, the MINI Comfort Pack enhances your new MINI with things to make everyday driving easier and more comfortable.

Features such as automatic air-conditioning and heated seats mean no matter what the weather is like outside, you can tailor the comfort on the inside. Rear park distance control will also mean parking is an absolute doddle.

MINI Comfort Pack Features (2021 onwards):

• Automatic air-conditioning
• Comfort Access System
• Front centre armrest
• Heated front seats
• Passenger seat height adjustment
• Rear Park Distance Control (PDC) (standard on all other models apart from MINI Hatch Classic models)
• Storage Compartment Pack

The Comfort Pack features were slightly different on MINI models before the 2021 update, so some used MINIs will feature the below as part of their Comfort Pack:

• Floor mats in velour
• Front centre armrest
• Heated front seats
• Rear Park Distance Control - (already standard on MINI Convertible and New MINI Countryman models)
• Passenger seat height adjustment
• Storage Compartment Pack

MINI Comfort Plus Pack

Enhance your MINI even further with features that extend the comfort and make day-to-day driving even easier and more pleasant. The stand out feature is Parking Assistant, which makes parallel parking super easy, as it does all the steering for the driver - find out more below.

MINI 2021 Comfort Plus Pack contains all the features of the aforementioned 2021 MINI Comfort Pack, plus additional options which include:

• Folding and auto-dimming mirrors with dipping parking function; including MINI logo projection
• Parking Assistant including Front Park Distance Control (helps you find a suitable parking space and makes parallel parking easy, you just have to brake and accelerate when required)
• Rear-view camera

Prior to 2021 update, the Comfort Plus Pack, which you can find on older used MINI models, featured:

• Rear-view camera
• Auto-dimming and folding exterior mirrors and interior rear view mirror
• Park Distance Control, front and rear
• Parking Assistant (helping you find a suitable space, which makes parallel parking easier, driver has to only operate brake and accelerator as required)

MINI Navigation Pack

An aptly named pack that includes a smart satellite navigation system, along with other complementing features to make time spent inside your MINI more enjoyable. Cool features such as Apple CarPlay, which not only looks great, but ensures complete safety in accordance with mobile phone and car usage come with this pack.

This pack itself comes as standard on the MINI Clubman, MINI Countryman and MINI Electric. The Navigation Pack is an option on the MINI Hatch and MINI Convertible. Features include:

• MINI Navigation system with 8.8-inch screen
• Apple CarPlay
• Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI)

Used MINI models prior to the latest 2021 changes have slightly different features, which include:

• MINI Navigation system with 6.5-inch display (8.8-inch display on the new MINI Countryman models only)
• MINI Connected*
• Apple CarPlay
• Visual Boost Radio

On MINI Electric, MINI Clubman and the new MINI Countryman, this pack also comprises additional equipment:

• Digital display cockpit
• Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI)
• ConnectedDrive Services
• Remote Services

MINI Navigation Plus Pack

Essentially, Navigation Plus Pack is again an enhancement of the Navigation Pack, but the MINI Hatch and MINI Convertible now get the below features too.

• Digital display cockpit (5-inch digital instrument cluster behind steering wheel)
• Enhanced Bluetooth with wireless charging
• Head-up Display
• MINI Connected XL

Used MINI models up until the 2021 update will have had the following features when selecting Navigation Plus Pack:

• MINI Navigation system with 8.8-inch touch display (with split screen functionality)
• Digital display cockpit
• Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI)
• Enhanced Bluetooth with wireless charging
• ConnectedDrive Services
• Concierge Service
• Remote Services
• MINI Connected*
• MINI Connected XL App
• Apple CarPlay
• Front centre armrest

MINI Driving Assistant Pack

This is essentially an assistant to you and your MINI, keeping you, your MINI and those around you safer.

The pack includes:

• Brake conditioning to reduce stopping distances prior to a collision, if a collision cannot be avoided, it reduces the impact
• Camera-guided automatic cruise control
• City collision mitigation for pedestrians and rear end collision with vehicles
• Electric Parking Brake
• High-beam Assistant
• Lane departure warning with steering wheel vibration
• Speed limit and traffic sign information

Used MINI Salt Pack

If you are looking for a Used MINI, other packs were also available from new, which included the Salt Pack. This was essentially the entry-level pack that featured on the MINI One - the entry-level point in the MINI range. Therefore, it contained some essentials, which included:

• Front fog lights
• Interior lights pack
• On-board computer
• Seat height adjustment
• Silver interior trim
• Storage Compartment Pack
• Velour floor mats

Used MINI Pepper Pack

You may see the Pepper Pack mentioned when looking at used MINI models. It gave more features than the previously highlighted Salt Pack and was available on MINI One and MINI Cooper models. It included everything from the MINI Salt Pack, plus:

• 15-inch alloy wheels
• Auto-lights
• Dual-zone automatic air-conditioning
• MINI Excitement Pack
• Leather steering wheel
• Mirror covers in body colour
• Rain sensitive wipers
• Storage Compartment Pack

Used MINI Chili Pack
