Italy-based Officina Armare has unveiled the renderings for a new 40-metre superyacht, Espada. The “go-anywhere” explorer yacht offers a multifunctional use of space, alongside expandable areas.Espada features a sleek and contemporary exterior design, with a rounded vertical bow to create a captivating silhouette. “A statement of sophistication, Espada effortlessly marries form with function, seamlessly blending the rugged charm of exploration with the graceful elegance of contemporary luxury,” commented Officina Armare. Spanning four decks, Espada provides a wealth of opportunities for guests to relax and entertain. Her main saloon includes a wet bar and forward dining options that open up onto an outdoor lounge area.Espada can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests across a five stateroom configuration, with her owners suite situated on the upper aft deck. The master stateroom includes a private terrace, offering the perfect secluded oasis for the owner.The upper deck of Espada can be accessed via staircases located on each side of her main deck, offering panoramic views of the surrounding waters. Her sun deck includes an alfresco dining area, a well-appointed bar and a teppanyaki grill. One of the standout features of Espada is her lower deck beach club, featuring a pool with custom seating and fold-down bulwarks, creating an expansive area for guests to enjoy, with the addition of a floating staircase which connects the beach club to the main deck. Her beach club area can also be accessed by another internal hidden staircase, with an extendable swim platform allowing for direct access to the water.“At Officina Armare Yacht & Interior design studio, we relentlessly push the boundaries of yacht design, ensuring that Espada transcends conventional expectations and stands resolute as a symbol of unrivaled elegance and distinction,” concluded Officina Armare. In terms of performance, Espada will be equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 engines of 1,925 horsepower each, which together with a specially designed hull, offer a maximum speed of 18 knots and cruising range of 3,600 nautical miles.
