Syracuse, N.Y. -- Stephen Rehfuss keeps making his Syracuse lacrosse teammates better, and as a result he’s earned an ACC award.
The senior attack has been selected as the league’s offensive player of the week after he dished out seven assists in a win over Johns Hopkins on Saturday.
It was the second time Rehfuss has doled out seven assists in a game this season. Before this year, only one Syracuse player had hit that plateau since 2000.
Rehfuss is the third Syracuse player to earn ACC weekly honors this year, joining Chase Scanlan and Drake Porter.
No. 1 SU visits Rutgers on Saturday.
