Maxx Crosby is a 2x Pro Bowl defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Maxx spent his childhood in the state of Texas before he went on to play football for Eastern Michigan for his college years. He spent three seasons there before entering the 2019 NFL Draft where the Raiders took him in the fourth round (106th overall), a pick that paid off for the organization. Against what many said, Maxx proved himself and his abilities in what was a standout rookie campaign with a combined 47 tackles and 10 sacks. Crosby became the first rookie since Joey Bosa (2016) with 10-plus sacks and 15-plus tackles for loss (16) in a single season, and he surpassed Aaron Wallace (1990) for second-most sacks (10.0) by a rookie in Raiders history. In his third season, Maxx was selected to the 2022 Pro Bowl, was named to Pro Football Focus’s First-Team All-Pro Defense, was first among all defenders in 2021-22 with 101 QB pressures, and was named twice the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Crosby has been voted by his teammates as the recipient of the Commitment to Excellence Award two years in a row. The Commitment to Excellence Award is presented annually to the Raider who best exemplifies hard work, leadership, and excellence on and off the field throughout the season. He has been named a top candidate for Defensive Player of the Year.

Maxx is a big animal advocate and featured Stand Up for Pits on his cleats for the annual league-wide My Cause My Cleats campaign. The nonprofit is dedicated to educating people about pit bulls and ending discrimination against the breed.

Crosby gives back to his hometown by providing an annual football skills camp to the youth of Colleyville, Texas.

Off the field, Maxx has been open about his sobriety journey and has voiced his thoughts on many other issues, including social injustice. More than three years ago, Crosby made the decision to end his addiction to alcohol and become sober.
