Sydney Sweeney isn't bothered about those Glen Powell dating rumors. The actor opened up about the rumors surrounding herself and her Anyone But You costar to Variety, saying that the conversation just makes them both laugh.

Initial flirty videos of the costars on the red carpet and during filming had fans buzzing about a potential romance between the costars, but Sweeney says it's all part of the job. “It’s a rom-com,” Sweeney shared. “That’s what people want! Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker. We’re excited for the press tour, and I literally just left ADR with him. We talk all the time like, ‘That’s really funny.’”

In fact, Sweeney is game to keep the charade going. “They want it,” she said. "It’s fun to give it to ’em.” That sizzling chemistry is good for the box office, after all.

Despite the conversation around the movie, Sweeney's focus never wavered. “Sydney is brilliant at a lot of things, including how to deal with social media; she didn’t emotionally internalize it," Anyone But You director Will Gluck shared. "It was crazy, but after a while it became normal.” Sweeney served as executive producer for the movie, which is set to premiere in December, and also developed the spec script for the project. “She never left set, never went to her trailer. She’s so blazingly smart, and she’s such a quick study, and she’s not afraid to ask questions," Gluck explained.

Anyone But You is Sweeney's first executive producer credit, but she'll also helm the horror movie Immaculate, and she revealed that she even wrote a screenplay; while that project probably won't see the light of day, Sweeney considers it a great exercise as she continues figuring out her Hollywood path. She's got a lot going on, but she thrives on the chaos. “I love this crazy run I’m on, because I fall in love with so many characters and I want to do them all. And I love what I do."
