Kim Wilde, 57, (real name Kim Smith) was born in Chiswick, England.
Her parents are Joyce Baker and 1950s rock n' roll singer Marty Wilde.
She is a pop singer, DJ, author and television presenter.
Kim's brother Ricky and sister Roxanne are also in the music business.
Kim first shot to fame with her 1981 debut single Kids in America.
She has sold over 10 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide.
In 1983, she received the Brit Award for Best British Female solo artist.

In addition to her music career, Kim Wilde has also had success as a landscape gardener.
During her first pregnancy she studied horticulture at Capel Manor College and subsequently worked as a designer on Channel 4's Better Gardens and the BBC programme Garden Invaders.
In 2005, she won a Gold award for her courtyard garden at the Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show.
Kim is also an author and has published two books on gardening - Gardening with Children (2005) and The First Time Gardener (2006).
Kim's latest album Here Come The Aliens was released on Friday, March 16, and her UK and Europe tour started in April 2018.
Has Kim Wilde seen a UFO?
Kim insists that in 2009 she came face to face with a UFO and that she wasn't drunk at the time.
She said: "You could just say I’m completely bonkers and had too much vino that night and should get a grip of myself. At the end of the day I know what I saw."
The singer first admitted to spotting the alien spacecraft over her Hertfordshire home in an interview with Attitude magazine in February 2018.
