Epoxy Glued Corners As Standard
Aluminium window and door corners are generally crimped or mechanically jointed using special corner cleats and chevrons. However, the corners of some aluminium systems can open up and look unsightly over time, with those corners also becoming weaker and allowing water ingress and/or drafts. More than 80% of a corners strength comes from being bonded with epoxy glue which is why we glue the corners to ensure they maintain their strength and to ensure the joint will never open up.
Adjustable Frame Jamb Option.
Fitters love the adjustable frame jamb option that can be selected on the Reynaers bi-fold. This can save time on-site, allow for a more precise installation and be a lifesaver when the builder has let you down! Note: this does not come as standard and must be requested.
Weather Rated ‘Flush’ Threshold Option.
A lot of customers these days are looking for flush threshold options, so they can create a more seamless walk-through from the home into the garden. Reynaers offer the perfect solution for this – a 30mm low threshold that is designed to be sunk into the brickwork to create an almost flush walk-through. Unlike the Smart low threshold, this one is weather rated so you can fit with confidence in any residential garden.
