Statemotor Corp., the exclusive distributor of Great Wall vehicles in the Philippines, will soon bring in the automatic transmission-equipped variant of its Coolbear MPV.
The automatic transmission-equipped Coolbear will be powered by the same 1.5-liter, 103hp engine used in the manual transmission-equipped model. The beauty of the Coolbear's automatic transmission, however, is that it will be a CVT, which means it won't be just economical, it'll also be more powerful as the engine's performance will be maximized.
"The CoolBear is proving to be one of Great Wall's very popular models," said John Mabulay, Statemotor's AVP for sales and marketing. "As a matter of fact, we've already exhausted our initial batch of the CoolBear and we're just waiting for the next batch, which already includes the automatic-equipped variant, to arrive by June."
"We're hoping the automatic-equipped Coolbear will be just as popular as the manual one," Mabulay added.
Great Wall will sell the automatic transmission-equipped Coolbear at P765,000.
