Dire

Truly dreadful but given it is now part of the Reach group hardly surprising. Overloaded with ads so pages load very s l o w l y. The standard of journalism both content and composition are dire. Endless reviews of local eateries and watering holes which really ought to be labelled as advertorials. No sub-editors or proof readers it seems as it is rare to find an article that isn't littered with errors.
The original pre-Reach paper was great with a masthead 'the paper that all Bristol asked for and helped create'. Sadly those days have gone and recently the decision was made to turn off comments with no explanation.

My god this paper/website has gone down…

My god this paper/website has gone down hill over the last 10 years. The website is absolutely appalling!! Takes about 5 minutes to load a page due to all the random adverts they have, the try and scroll through a page and it just jumps everywhere. So so bad

Awful

Awful. Tried to read an article and got plagued with adverts that kept refreshing the page!!!! Avoid at all costs…..
