Danity Kane to reunite, according to reports

Remember Danity Kane, the girl group that Diddy formed back in 2005, on the third season of MTV's Making the Band? They're back together — and this time without a famous Svengali around.

That, at least, is what TMZ and various other sources are reporting. According to TMZ's initial account, four members of the band — which Diddy dissolved in 2009 — lunched in Los Angeles with a new manager to discuss reunion plans.

Were Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres to record and tour again, would they need Diddy's permission to use their old band name? The report said that it was unclear who owned it — and added that Diddy's reps did not immediately return calls.
