I am very happy with my new FIskars Folding Produce Harvesting knife. Fiskars is an excellent, quality brand. I own several garden tools made by Fiskars. This small folding knife delivers. It's sharp, and cuts through vegetation easily. I recommend this product.

Great Garden Knife

I love Fiskars products and this harvesting knife is the same quality that
I have come to expect from them. I'm a gardener and I will get a lot of use
out of this knife. I love that it comes with a hard plastic sheath as well. It feels
good in my hand and has a nice grip. Quality item!! Get one!!

Love it!

I live in Central Florida and have a TON of elephant ear plants that I have a love/hate relationship with. If you have these you know they eventually fall over and need to be cleaned out for new growth. I was using a large pocket knife to swipe at the base of the plant before it turned brown. This knife is MUCH better for that purpose. It's very sharp and the blade is heavy duty. The extra length makes it perfect for this chore. Plus it has a clip-on holster that I like because the other way I was doing it, I had to either close the knife or lay it somewhere.

Great Knife for Outdoor Work

This knife is very nice. It seems to have everything that I need when using a knife in my garden. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it!!
It has a rubber grip on the handle, so my muddy hands don't slide when using it! 
I like the serrated edge that is on just part of the blade. Helps, especially when cutting thru tough vines!
The sheath is very easy to get the knife out of and it even has a guide to help the knife go back in smoothly and quickly! 
It also has a nice belt loop, to keep it right at my side and within reach! 
So far this is the perfect garden knife! I highly recommend it!!

Nice, durable harvesting knife!

I am super impressed with this full tang stainless steel harvesting knife. You'd be amazed at how many uses there are for a blade like this with a relatively flattened front edge vs. a sharp point. It is well-suited to all kinds of gardening work, including weeding, harvesting vegetables, or even trimming trees and bushes. I've used it for these purposes, for camping applications, and just as a box cutter inside the house. It comes with a decent plastic sheath which is a little flimsy, but good enough. The blade itself is quite beautiful, and the handle is lightweight with a good grip. It also features a bit of a serrated edge near the base of the blade, helpful for sawing through whatever needs sawing. Really nice knife, very pleased.

Solid multi-purpose knife!

Needed a knife to cut down plants in the garden when they were done producing. I decided to try the Fiskars Harvesting Knife. The knife itself feels very durable and feels well balanced. The blade is thick, not flimsy and made of stainless steel. There is a portion of the blade that is serrated for cutting making it easy to cut down plant stems or stalks. The knife is not huge and I believe it is the perfect size for any garden. The knife also comes with a hard plastic case which can be put on your belt or clip on the waistband of your pants. Overall, great knife for working in the garden.

Great Cutter for the Garden

This is a Fiskars Folding Produce Knife.I love this knife, it's my favorite! Everything about it is great. It makes clean, precise cuts on smaller stalks and stems. Its precision-ground, stainless steel blade has a curved tip, allowing easy access to stalks and stems through dense growth without damaging nearby vegetation. This folding knife's push-button lock makes it easy to close and keeps it secure when open, while its foldable, ergonomic design offers comfort and compact storage.This knife can do everything, great trustworthy brand that never lets me down.Highly recommend! Very sharp!

Fiskars Folding Produce Harvesting Knife

I received the Fiskars Folding Produce Harvesting Knife to use and give my honest opinion. Out of the package I liked it right away. I love the orange and black colors. That makes it easy to find if you drop it. It does take 2 hands to open it. I have smaller hands and this knife fit my hand perfectly. When it is opened and the blade is locked it is very comfortable to use. It has a nice stainless steel blade and that will last and helps with cleanup. The blade is what we always called a hawk bill. It has a curve on the end that makes it easy to hook onto whatever you are cutting. There is no wiggle at all in this little compact knife. This Fiskars Folding Produce Knife Closes to a compact size that makes it easy to fit into my pockets. The hard plastic handle seems sturdy and high quality materials. It doesn't pinch or aggravate your hand when using it. A lot of knives like this makes my hands sweat. Not so with this knife. I guess it is because of the quality of material. I used it to cut and separate my flowers. It sliced through them cleanly and quickly. I really like this little Fiskars Folding Produce knife. It also comes with a lifetime warranty which is fantastic. It a good deal for the price. About the only con I have with this knife is that when I clean it I'm afraid gunk will get stuck in the hinge. I always clean my tools after use. It does seem that it got dull rather quickly. All in all I gave it 4 stars!

Easy to use Fits Hand Perfectly

I don't have a garden do I don't use this for harvesting produce. But this comes in very handy in the kitchen when peeling oranges. I usually have nice fingernail designs. They are stickers so I like to pamper them. When peeling citrus this knife is perfect. It saves my nails but gets the peeling started just enough to save my nails. This knife is made well, lightweight but sturdy. My favorite feature is the release button on the side. I've got a fear of blades and some folding knives are so hard to close that I don't do it. I end up having my husband close it. But this little button takes enough pressure off that it closes smoothly and easily. I also use this knife to cut the foil on my wine bottles and the plastic around jars and bottles. The blade is not real sharp, but I suppose if I wanted it sharper I could sharpen it. Overall I'm very happy with this Fiskars produce knife but meets my needs

Handy Dandy

As soon as I got this knife I brought it out to my lime tree. I tried to cut the stems on my lime. It was not an easy cut. I had to hold the lime and then use a little strength to cut the stem as I pulled on the lime. Tried a second lime and it was the same. The knife itself feels good in my hand. Once opened it locks into place. I am a knife guy and this is one that I will have to sharpen myself.

It is not a very sharp knife.
