There is a thin plastic sheet that goes on either side of the item (front and back), so the item's protected. However, the plastic is kind of flimsy and can crack, so buy with caution.

2 plexiglas slides protect the album. It really is a great product at a very affordable price.

Plexiglass, coated with a sheet of plastic that protects it on both sides -- if handled properly, imitates glass reasonably well.

Yes, two plastic covers. One for the front, and one for the back. Make sure you remove the film on both sides of the plastic (you will be removing 4 plastic covers).

My frames each came with two, clear-plastic inserts. They have a plastic skin on them that is easy-to-peel before inserting the album cover. They are much lighter than glass but they are just as crystal clear.

Plastic. I would rather have that than wood as that would have to be paint on top and could chip. It's nice looking and cheap, what more can you ask for.

Hmmm....it has a space for a nail/screw to hang from...but, you could probably hang from two-sided heavy duty tape.

one of the clips that holds the album to the frame has a small hole/opening that can be used for hanging (unless you just want to use the hollow area). i'd recommend purchasing suction hook to place on your wall. 3M makes some great ones that stick every and just pop off. they're like $4-6...i'm sure these will hold the frames up.

You can use a nail or even a hook, I guess. There are little black clips which hold the back cover in place and there is a hole in the top clip, through which a nail can be put.

There is a hole in the back of the frame (not really in the frame, but the thing that squeezes the frame and the back of the record together). You could easily get a hook and stick it to the wall and connect it to the frame. It is really light weight.

The back cover is secured with metal clips. The top clip has a hole for a picture hanger.

One of the clips (that hook into the frame and keep the record in place) has a hole in it. You center the clip along the top part of the frame and hang it on a nail. Frames are light, even with a record inside.

One of the 6 clips that holds the album cover and backing on has a hole in it to accept a nail or screw that is in the wall. You might be able to use an adhesive backed picture hook but it might be difficult to find the clip with the hole in it.

A very small nail would do it. If you can't do that, get some black adhesive velcro and cut pieces for each corner. They are lightweight and that should hold it fine.

I hang mine using a small nail and hang directly on the frame. You have to use some kind of nail or hook as there is no surface to use adhesive.

Any picture hanger will work! You can also use an adhesive hanger with it if you don't want holes in the wall.

for the price, these record frames are great and look wonderful in my bathroom! once i arrange the main area of my apt, i am looking to purchase more sets to frame my other favorite albums.

love love love these frames

After much searching and not wanting to spend a ton on frames for my vinyl albums I found these and tried them out. Very very happy with them. For an absolute non mechanical person like myself they are easy to take apart, put back together, and hang. After removing the film over each piece of plexiglass they're very clear and my vinyl looks great on the wall!

Perfect frames at a perfect price

After being frustrated with amazon listing a 12 x 12 frame as a record frame, and then them not fitting (since records are slightly larger than 12 inches), I did a google shopping search, and these came up. They were perfect and even less expensive than the ones I bought before, and if it wasn't right, I could return it to the Walmart store and avoid expensive return shipping. I'm very happy with my experience, and will definitely consider Walmart.com for future purchases.

These record album frame from Walmart are great and the more you buy, the cheaper they are each. Unfortunately I went to buy more later and they were out of the bulk packs. Daughter used one for an autographed record album and I wanted to decorate a room with them.

If you're looking for an inexpensive way to display your classic record album covers look no further!. These frames have a black metal frame with two sheets of clear plastic to keep the front and back of the album protected. Easy to slip the album in, so easy you can switch covers every so often if you want. Easy to hang and looks great on any wall!

Great Record Album Frame

After a false start (had to reorder after a site to store order went missing in action), I picked up these frames last night and cannot begin to say how great they are. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Street Survivors" are now gracing our walls. What an easy way to create instant art - so much so that I ordered four more frames as soon as I got those two hung! Nice quality for an excellent price. Thanks, Walmart!

These frames are a WOW!

These are the best ones I have seen in a while! Easy to put your album in and out, and once you remove the protective film from the plexiglass, they are crystal clear! I bought several to house some of my prized vinyl. Check it out.
