Park Ave. restaurant-and-apartment building sells for $2.6M

429 Park Ave. in Worcester
A mixed-use building on Worcester's Park Avenue has sold for nearly $2.6 million, more than double its assessed value.
The 25,000-square-foot building at 429 Park Ave. includes residential units above a row of storefronts, including MetroPCS, Foot Reflexology Center, Hollywood Nails, Studio 90 Hair Salon, House of Vapors, The Check Exchange, and Da Lat Restaurant.
The buyers are two individuals, Kardon Bui and Tram Nguyen. Bui is listed as the co-owner of the NhuBinh Beauty Salon on Main Street in Worcester, according to filings with the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth.
They bought the site from Six Sigma Realty, a limited liability corporation registered to Sarwat, Ali and Surrayia Hussain of Shrewsbury. The sale closed Feb. 20.
The property, which sits on just over half an acre, was last assessed by the City of Worcester at $1.1 million. Six Sigma Realty bought the site in 2015 for $2.35 million.
