Giving women a platform is integral to competitive innovation

The #WinSportsData2024 Symposium will be held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 7. All are welcome to attend. In addition, we are holding a concurrent project-based data hackathon open to women and non-binary individuals who have never worked full time in professional sports. This competition will take place over a virtual six-week sprint.

As the tech and sports industries grow in importance and influence, women remain heavily underrepresented—to the detriment of all. The Women in Sports Data initiative promotes diversity and equity in sports analytics through the expansion of women's professional networks and the cultivation of cross-sport dialog among industry experts.
