Rebate <strong>Seal</strong>s<br />
Rebate seals are mounted in the groove of the frame or<br />
door. Depending on the type, the bottom part of the<br />
seal is inserted directly into the groove (fig. 1) or the<br />
seal must be fitted with a housing (fig. 2).<br />
<strong>Seal</strong>ing profiles which are painted over or used for renovation purposes must always be tested for their<br />
compatibility with the lacquer. Irrespective of the specifications for paint compatibility, testing should always<br />
be carried out.<br />
When complying with the stipulated drying times, the compatibility is given for following paint systems:<br />

The door stops are divided into two groups:<br />
. Floor mounted door stops<br />
. Wall mounted door stops<br />
Within these two groups, the door stops are<br />
separated according to material and design.<br />
The door stops should not be installed at the same<br />
height as the lever handle, as the impact force can<br />
damage the door lock.<br />
Normally, door holders are fitted directly to the door.<br />
By pressing the bolt, the holder is pressed to the floor<br />
and holds the door in any angle required. Slight<br />
pressure on the interlocking plate releases the door<br />
holders.<br />
Where specified, the data referring to the maximum<br />
door weight is to be considered as a guideline. The<br />
actual load of the holder varies depending on the floor<br />
covering and door panel width. Where a door is fitted<br />
with a door closer, additional load is put on the door<br />
holder.<br />
The door holders should be installed at the maximum<br />
possible distance to the hinge side on the outside or<br />
inside of the door panel. When released, the distance<br />
between the underside of the holder and the floor<br />
should be a minimum of 10 mm in every opening angle<br />
of the door.<br />
Where the floor is rough or on a slope within the<br />

A door can also be held with a door stop with an<br />
adhesive or clamping mechanism. These door holders<br />
are fixed to the wall or to the floor. The angle, in which<br />
the door is held, is therefore pre-determined.<br />
