The Primary Section held a special assembly for all the sections of 3,4 and 5.The students came in tricoloured costumes for the special day. It began with the prayer followed by an interesting and informative speech on India’s struggle for freedom. This speech highlighted the roles played by our National leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. After the speech, students sang the National Song and Patriotic songs. Girls of the primary section also performed a well-choreographed dance performance. This assembly evoked feelings for our motherland amongst our students and love for our beloved country, India. Special assemblies help our students realize the innumerable sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. It also made them aware of our brave soldiers who are deployed on the borders of our country and are on round the clock vigil to keep us safe.
Visitor From Brazil
Recently Clap Talk was organised in the school for students of grade 9 A and 9 B. The students welcomed the visitor Ms Lais Klain in the traditional Indian style. This session was organised in association with Clap Global. Such interactive and informative sessions give our students a chance to meet and converse with people from other countries. She interacted with our students and told them about the culture and lifestyle in Brazil. Her session included interesting information related to her family, culture and religion in Brazil. She also taught essential Portuguese words used for communication to our students. Ms. Lao also discussed global issues with our students, which included the decreasing size of Amazon forests and the precautions people in Brazil are taking to protect the climate. The exciting session ended with games and a talent show in which our students showcased their talent on stage.
