Order via Agoda because of good price and good reviews. everything crumbles when entering the cottage

+ serene environment, away from bustling road good for those who wants calm lodging
+ cold fresh air
+ individual resort, very suitable during pandemic
+ very few mosquitos 
+ good concierge

- lots of cobwebs within the vicinity
- dirty resort, I kept sneezing and have to wear slippers inside
- dresser smells of mould.. I wouldn't bother put my clothes inside it
- few channel selection for the TV only local channels
- dirty bathroom with lots of mould at the walls and floor
- bed was also broken at the middle part so I can't sleep properly and made my back hurt when woke up
- pillows was so flat that it hurt my neck and shoulder also made me got a headache
- poor wifi, poor cellular signal. I always woke up with around 45% battery left after fully charge it during the night
- staff didn't inform the restaurant's business hours, can't order at 8 PM so have to order online and pay hefty delivery fee because it's located far from food center (day 2)
- staff didn't inform the main gate closing hour, got locked at 9 PM!! tried to call the number at Agoda and NOT available. Had to google for 15 minutes and called 3 different number to finally got one (Day 3)
- morning before check out I just realized the hole of the wooden wall carving at the back of head bed got no mesh for protection no wonder I saw small bugs enter the bedroom..

Not properly maintained lodging

We booked this hotel earlier in the day in a bit of a rush but it looked fantastic on Agoda and there was a big discount. 
Upon arrival, we had problems getting into the hotel. There was a locked gate and a disgruntled security guard who told us to go away before we told him we needed to check in. Once there, the restaurant wasnt open today and we told that all they had was fried rice or we could order food in (which arrived to a locked gate and no security guard). Breakfast? Nope. The restaurant will open at 11am! 
We were given a free upgrade to a place on the river and it has a certain rustic charm about it but there's just too many annoying things about this place. We've had to contact reception about 10 times already because none of the lights worked then the TV wouldn't work. It has just been a bit annoying. The water pressure is too low to have a proper shower. There's a bathtub that takes all night to fill up and if you did it'd be cold water by the time it was half full. One thin pillow each. One tea bag each. We can either have all of the lights on or be in complete darkness. It's a bit of a disaster. 
Then the worst thing, next door came back into their room and turned the TV on! Wow! It's like we are sharing a room!! It's terrible. There isn't enough privacy for a family sharing with next door, let alone strangers! It's appalling. I can hear them whispering to each other and if anyone goes to the toilet then we'll know about it. 
Overall, easily the worst place I've ever stayed. Last night we stayed in a super simple guesthouse for 80,000rp, I'd recommend that a hundred times over this place. 1 star. 

Disappointing 

the presidential suite that i was staying in was dirty and full of spider web. as if the place has not been used for a long time. on top the place was haunted. i cannot stay another night and decided to move to another place immidiately

This is a good place to pull over from big city routine. We stayed in room with lake view and big gate entrance. It was roomy, even the bath ub was prepared well since we ordered honeymoon room, unfortunately the cleanliness was fair, staffs were friendly but need quite long time for room in dining. The weather there was so cold so u'd better take a walk before bath in the morning. It was non air conditioned room but so cold. The breakfast was traditional with so-so taste. 

Serenity and Peaceful village 

It was not what I expected. At first, I called the resort to confirm my booking and to know if I could check-in earlier, but they said the room wasn't ready yet, so I waited until 2pm to check in. When I got there, I was quite taken aback with the room conditions. I think the resort's main points are nature and authentic traditional house, but they should know the difference between naturally traditional and dirty. The room didn't look like it just got cleaned as on the bed there were things like wood chips etc. The bathroom was so dirty and had a lot of bugs, I didn't feel like using it at all. The bathtub was big, but I have to clean it first before using it, and they provided warm water but only last for a while before turning into really cold water.

For breakfast, we can choose to have it at the room or we can go to the restaurant. As I didn't feel well, I chose to have breakfast in the room and they delivered it quite fast, but they didn't provide porridge.

The only good thing was the man in the reception. My partner forgot to bring his laptop charger so we asked if we could use the charger from the front desk, but they didn't have it. The man said he had it but in his home, so he went home first for us. We were really grateful for that, he was so friendly as well.

Disappointed Experience

This resto is very natural. There are ponds and rice fields. Huts are comfy. The nasi timbel was yummy. Service are good. I was glad that they permitted our pet to join us dine in. Everything was great :)

Great Atmosphere of Dine

Honestly, kinda creepy (i am a chicken tho).
The room was spacious also the bathroom. They have big bath tub, excellent for couple haha.
If you want the natural ambience, this place is perfect. Quite and dark haha.
However, please improve the cleanliness.

Romantic Gateway

stay here for 2 night at sinden room. Overall i love this place, great ambiance with a great services from the staff. But my concern only for the cleanliness and the air was damp. 

Need some maintenance also at room area for detail, such as the gate around entrance room and cable extends between the guardrail and the lake.

The food is good and the room service faster than my expectation
